How to Renew Your Mindset

As the seasons change, so does our mindset. The arrival of warmer temperatures along with the sun helps shake off the winter’s hibernation. There are patterns in nature, and in how we do the world.

Spring is a great time to facilitate change, and activate new ways of being that accelerate growth and success in your life. The opportunities presented by the change in our environment can be leveraged to enhance the changes you want to make. Read on to find simple tips on how to make change easy.

Many people we work with want change, but they don’t know how or what to change. Just about all of us definitely know what we don’t want – more of the same. And the thought of change is scary, unachievable or just seems like hard work.

There are so many goal setting methods out there, and not all work for everyone. What does work for every one is a change in mindset. This includes the thoughts you think, your beliefs about what is and isn’t possible, and how you perceive the world. Your reality is created in the top two inches of your body, and often it’s the hardest muscle to work out.

Start with how you want to feel, how you want to be, and imagining what that would be like in your daily life. Suspend disbelief for a little while and daydream on the possibilities of having a better human experience. Listing the emotions you want to feel for the day can help shortcut the process of change. Remember the mind doesn’t recognise the difference between past memories and vividly create future ones. Another way is note of list of past experiences that have made you feel alive. The sun on your face, good company or food, a great work out, a compliment or a kind word. Notice how you felt and feel the feeling as if its happening now.

Any goal, dream or change becomes achievable when you are inspired, excited, intentional and certain of success. These are all emotions.

Create a moment every morning to access the emotions you want to feel as you renew your way of being, and notice the difference in how you perceive the world.
